Middle School Cross Country Season Preview from Coach Mouro
The Middle School Cross Country team is excited to start the 2017-18 season. The team is coached by Coach Matt Mouro and Coach Doug Bell. Due to the devastation of Hurricane Harvey, our first three meets have been canceled. Our first meet will take place in College Stations on Saturday, September 16th at the Allen Academy Invitational. Our student athletes have been working extremely hard in preparation for our first meet! We will only have three meets before we take on district in October. In an individual sport, such as cross country, our main focus to continually improve personal records (PR). Throughout the year we will develop our running style, cardiovascular endurance, improve our GPA, be better today than yesterday & better tomorrow than today.
