Bio

Coach Beaver is entering her third season as the head of the Girls' Volleyball program at The Village School with eight years of coaching experience. She also teaches IB Psychology and Anthropology at the High School. 
 
A Houston native, Coach Beaver graduated from Morton Ranch High School in KISD, where she was a 4-Year Varsity Letterman and a captain for the volleyball team. She went on to play collegiately while obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Converse University. 
 
Prior to The Village School, Coach Beaver spent two years as an assistant volleyball coach at St. Agnes Academy where they won the TAPPS 6A State Champions in 2019 and were State Runner Ups in 2020. She is also a head coach at Houston Skyline, the #1 Volleyball Club in Houston, and one of the top clubs in the nation. This past season she made Skyline history by qualifying her 13's team in the highest division at Junior Nationals, with a Top 20 finish at Nationals and #1 in the Lone Star Region.
 
Utilizing both her playing and coaching experiences, Coach Beaver is working to build a program of athletes who embody a Championship Mindset both on the court and in the classroom. This includes being a person for others, challenging yourself, and giving your best effort in everything you do. She is also passionate about using volleyball to teach important life skills that go beyond the sport.
