Varsity Girls Lacrosse Season Update from Coach Yoo
March 7, 2019
With the recent rainy and frigid weather, the varsity girls lacrosse team had to cancel their first two games but they took advantage of that to prepare for the season. On Tuesday, March 5th, the Lady Vikings competed in their first game against Lamar High School. They lost 10-3 but it was a great game that was still dominated by the defense and goalie. The goalie, Maria Morkas, was a rockstar in the net with 18 saves. The goals were scored by sophomore, Maddie Davis and senior, Victoria Fletcher with 2.
This year, we have 18 girls on the team, the biggest yet! It is a very young team, but we are all working together towards bigger goals. We are determined to have another winning season by releasing our energy, strength, and tenacity on the field every day.
Please support your Lady Vikings at their next home game of the season on Thursday, March 21st at 5:30PM vs Bellaire HS.
